Henry Miller "Hank" Smith

We are Carrie Lathrem´s father in law and mother in law. My wife and I have not known Henry, Carrie´s cousin, but have had the privilege and pleasure to have met Teri , Henry´s mother. We send truly heartfelt condolences for this great loss of a mightily accomplished individual who had so much to give to all of those around him. That is especially true for his dear son and mother. We just want you to know that we are grieving here in California at this great loss and our hearts and minds...

This is hard to process. My mind goes back to Montevallo, when Hank had that long hair and the leather biker jacket stomping through the first-floor hall in the dorm. He presented an imposing, very intimidating figure - until you got to know him. It did not take long to determine that Hank was "Hank". Bright, curious, fearless, and a heck of a friend. He deeply loved his mother and made sure that you loved her too. I am so sorry Mrs. Teri. He was one of a kind.

I´m so sorry for your loss Aunt Terry. Hank was intelligent and nothing but kind and easy to talk to when I met him. Rest easy Hank.
