I looked on Hank as a friend. He took the trouble to answer my letters (in those days) about problems I was having with my US distributor. Not being a natural salesman myself I relied on his wisdom to run my small business. The Trisler Times was always received with happiness in our household.

He was a masterful story teller - what a great trainer. Loved your story about buying a Mercedes - masterpiece.

"Ole Hen" was among my dearest friends, as well as the wisest and wittiest of acquaintences. He was a bright star in the universe of wordsmiths.

I was shocked and upset when I heard the news. I have listened to Hanks tapes in my car for many a year. I have learned stuff yes, but I have enjoyed his humour and he has cheered me up many a time.
I never had the chance to meet him,but I know he was a kind and gentle sole.

When I met Hank, I was already a sales executive and had "moved a lot of iron", as we used to say. Hank was the featured speaker at our sales conference and I found that when my team and I listened to what he told us and took it to heart, we sold even more.
