A Tribute for "HAP" by Randy Hamel

VA ANG Club 149 - Hap Arnold-left

It's been awhile "Bud". I still miss you ALOT. Think of you so often. Wish you were here to bounce a few things off of. Take care bud.............

EPIC....the only word that can describe the life and times of Hap Arnold. I consider myself honored to be one of Hap's "buds". We roomed together in DC back in the 80s....oh the stories! Crossing paths during Iraqi Freedom in Frankfurt and Kuwait City, duck hunting in Chincoteague, bike trips to Sturgis and Myrtle Beach, trading rides in the B-17 and F-16.....what a ride it was. The circle of "buds"...Tommy, Ricky, Bro, D.R., Dick, Bubba, J.T., Randy, Geno and so many...

I know that you are flying with the angels now, and you will be greatly missed. Thank you for being such a great friend to my brother and know that Elvis will be well taken care of. My prayers are with your family and all of your friends who will miss you every single day. Rest in Peace Hap.

I remember Herb from my years at U of R. Also from KE. RIP Brother Arnold.

We all lost a great friend, the world will be a bit dimmer without your light in it ( and your infamous antics and stories). My heart is broken, but my life was richer for having you in it. Keep flying high and watching over the rest of us. "Charlie"

Rest in peace Herbert.

Hap your Omni family will deeply miss you. Definitely a shining light in many F/A lives.
