Herbert Cockerham Sr., 78, of Ruston, Louisiana, a heavy equipment operator before his retirement, died at his residence on Saturday, February 3, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 5, 2001, 6-8 p.m., at Owens Memorial Chapel, Inc., 2300 West California, Ruston. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, 2 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Briff Peterson. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
