Not sure what to say?

Herbie I knew you for a long time the vfw etc some day all us vets will answer that final roll call and muster in the sky and the great commander will assemble us all.

I've know herb for a long time going miss seeing him drive around in that orange truck. My prayers are with you.

Herbie will be greatly missed. It will not seem the same without seeing him at all the car shows. Everyone could always count on him being at the NSRA Nationals, cooking his special hot dogs and making sure everyone had something to eat. It will be odd not seeing him in his floppy hat driving his little orange truck. Herbie was such a terrific guy and will be sadly missed.

Fondly known as Herbie to us, he was a friend we could always count on. Herbie fought in an unpopular war in Vietnam and that, in itself, makes him a hero. Always helpful, always kind, always quiet and unassuming.......rest in peace our dear friend. We will miss you. Tim Richart and Patty Osterman

I am very sorry for your loss. May your fond memories console and comfort you in the days ahead. Psalm 25:16 & 17

Sorry to hear of Herbert's passing. I was a class mate of his. Your family will be in our prayers.
