Herbert Francis Gabriel

I have known Herb ever since he was my orthodontist in middle school. There was a special bond with Herb & Betty-all 4 of us graduated from UCSF and Betty & I became nurses & married dentists:) We kept in touch all these years and when we moved down to Carlsbad, we came to know & love Phyllis. Our sincere condolences. My husband and I have fond memories of visiting Herb and Betty at their Corning ranch way back in the Sunsweet days. Herb was an accomplished photographer and many of his beautiful orchard shots graced the pages of the grower magazine I edited then. He will be missed.

We have very fond memories of Dr Gabriel. He was my orthodontist when I was in High School in Oceanside. He will be missed by all who knew him. I still remember all of the beautiful Camelias that he grew at his home. In later years we felt a close friendship with him and his girlfriend Phyllis.

We both have many fond memories of Herb Gabriel. My wife has fond memories of working for Herb in his dental office and all the fun times when Greg would visit. I remember seeing Herb outside his office as I was cleaning up outside my fathers dental office which was nearby. We both thought so highly of Herb Gabriel and considered him our friend.
