I have fond memories of Uncle Herbie visiting my parents at Lake Cavanaugh during the 1960's and again at Seattle in the 70's. He was a devoted husband and I always admired his efforts in caring for my Aunt Francis due to her health issues. I recall his red 1959 Chevy Nomad and his white Plymouth. He sure put some miles on them between Phoenix and Seattle! Uncle Herbie will be missed by all who knew him and remembered for his witty comments and teriffic sense of humor.

He was a very sweet father and we will miss his gentle spirit. He was a wonderful dancer, gardener and fisherman. He loved to play games and read western novels. He is now with Jesus and mom which we know will make all of them very happy.
