Not sure what to say?

Johnny Burgess was a true friend that we met awhile back . He was a very special friend who we talked with, cruised with and always laughed when we were together! I will miss your calls and visits ! Rest In Peace my dear friend!! I will always cherish the look on yours and Tina's face when we rang your doorbell on the cruise to surprise you!

Johnny was a hard working, responsible, kind, upright, loving man parading as a irrepressible, irreverent, hilarious rascal. To know him was to love him. You could not be with Johnny for five minutes without laughing your head off. You looked forward to being around him because you knew you would without fail enjoy yourself and just feel good.

Anyone who was privileged enough to have him as a friend or blessed enough to have him as a family member was lucky; and I think we all...

Johnny was a good friend and neighbor for many years. He had a great sense of humor and drew people to him by his outgoing and welcoming personality. He had a knack for making new acquaintances feel like they were old time friends. He and Tina hosted so many fun parties and dinners. We will miss you so much Bubba. Tina, may God provide you with comfort and peace and heal your aching heart.

Johnny was like a little brother to me, I am his older sister's best friend & have known the family for over 50+ years. My sincere condolences to his wife, Tina & the Burgess family. My heart is broken. May he R.I.P.

May God's loving kindness comfort you and help you through this very sad time
