Not sure what to say?

Our sympathies to the family of Herta Swartzbaugh. She was friendly and helpful when we dropped in unannounced to ask for some genealogy help. The men exchanged war stories while the women talked about family history. We also appreciated her continued help with translating some documents written in German.

On the occasion of the memorial service and funeral of beloved Herta we lit candles in Augsburg-Königsbrunn, Bad Rappenau and Ulm (at 10 am CTZ) . Our thoughts were with Herta and you in West Salem.
Both of the Froehlich's and the Beyer's in Old Germany

She left much too soon, but she will always live in our hearts. We are grateful for the hospitality in West Salem, as well as for the many hours of telephone talk.
Our thoughts and sympathy are with you beloved Sam and Martin's, Daniel's and Bettina's families.
It will comfort you to know that Herta can now rest in peace without pain.
Liebe Herta, Ruhe in Frieden!
On behalf of the Fröhlich's (Augsburg & Bad Rappenau) and the Beyer's (Ulm)
Gerd and Renate Beyer...

Martin, Daniel and Bettina.....my deepest sympathy in the loss of your sweet mama! She was one of the nicest people I know, even if we didn't see each other much. I always enjoyed visiting with her when I saw her. She will be greatly missed.
