Hilda Gaudreau

1921 - 2018

Hilda (Mello) Gaudreau age 96, of Somerset, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late William R. Gaudreau. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel R. and Maria (Medeiros) Mello, she was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1938. Mrs. Gaudreau was employed as a Dispatcher for the Somerset Police Department before retiring in 1986. A communicant of St. Thomas More Church, she attended several prayer groups and taught CCD at the church for many years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Raymond C. Gaudreau and his wife Marilyn, Geoffrey Gaudreau; one grandson, Craig Gaudreau all of Somerset; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Noah Gaudreau and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel R. Mello and Mary "Mamie" Silvia. Her visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 9:15 to 10:15 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County St., Somerset, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM in St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave., Somerset. Relatives and friends invited.
