Billie was a long-term and much-loved member of the CNY chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, and her influence and inspiration will long be remembered by all of us. She was the initiator of our annual Billie Award, which is an award given at the June banquet to any member who completes a here-to-fore uncompleted needlework project.
