For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 - 14Horace Eugene Hensley, Jr., the son of the late Horace Eugene Hensley, Sr. and Hadena Mitchell Hensley, was born January 26, 1954 in Union City, Tennessee. He went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2009 in the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina.He attended the public schools of Florence County and in his youth became a self employed painter.Horace joined Maxwell Baptist Church and later joined Solid Rock Baptist Church.Those left to cherish his memories are: his friend and ex-wife, Janie Smith Hensley of Effingham, SC; seven children, Tonya Keefe Elbey, Rasheda Keith, Derhonda Keith, Pleshette Lasane, Latasha Smith, Kimberly (James) Smith and Demario Smith, all of Florence, SC; 17 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
