Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of Howard's death. He was so special in my family's life his many years in Old Town. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Karen, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. It sounds like your dad was a wonderful man. He will be missed by many.

Howard as a D.S. was a true pastor's pastor. He was a loving, compassionate gentle man whose laugh still rings in our fond memories of him. Our love to Eva and the family.

What a wonderful man. He married my wife (Joan) and I at the old Old Town Church in 1967. Was one of my favorite people I have ever met. He has been in my thoughts many times over the years. God Bless him and his family. What a wonderful and full life he had. God is proud of how he served him.

Eva, Karen, Tim, Kathy and Benson family, My sincere condolences to you all. The entire community lost one of the kindest, most caring dedicated Godly man who cared about people. He was dear to my heart, as some of my fondest memories of him was as a young child, baptized by him (As was my mom and 2 brothers) , at the Old Town United Methodist Church. Before he retired in 1988, he baptized my son at the United Methodist church in Brewer. I made an 8x10 portrait of him holding my 6 month old...

I have had the priveledge of knowing you all for so many years. All of my childhood and beyond. Howard was a wonderful man, loving, devoted, had wisdom and understanding.Howard and Eva were a team in everything they did.He was a wonderful Father. I know cos I was there at your home alot.So glad we will see you again when the trumpet sounds. Our love and prayers to you all.

To the Benson Family, This is a sad time for all. It is also a time to celebrate Mr. B's amazing life. Mr. B was a wonderful, kind, and gentle man. He will be greatly missed!
