Not sure what to say?

Howard, I only recently found out about your passing. You were my greatest bus driver I've ever had in my 12 years of schooling. I will miss you very much, my condolences go out to the whole Dircks family. You were just a great guy and always upbeat. Even when it was snowing and it was impossible to drive, you managed to drive to my house (which isn't so easily accessible during snow storms).
I told Howard to wait because I felt bad that he worked so hard and wouldn't get home for a...

Howard and I worked together at Vogel Bus for over 15 years. He was like an older big brother to me. We all miss you here Howie. Rest in Peace my friend.
Love always, Dixie

Howard was one of a kind. He was the bus driver for my kids for I don't know how long. He treated the kids on the bus like they were his grandkids. The kids used to look forward to getting on the bus and going to school thanks to Howard. He was a prince among men and I'm so sorry for Howard and his family. We'll never forget you Howard. Rest in peace.

Howie, I say to you as I have said to you for 54 yrs."you are the most generous, guileless, devoted ultra-friend Ive ever had or ever will have.I feel as though I have lost a major part of my life and body. You touched many children and adults during your life with your wit and caring personality. I can't possibly enumerate all the memories we've had over the yrs. Watching football with Bill G.,fishing, hitting the casinos, shooting pool, sharing holiday, etc. etc. I will never cease missing you. I...

You were the bus driver for my kids since they began school. Over the past 7 years you and I had become good friends. I will greatly miss our morning conversations and the care you gave my kids and all the kids on the SFCS route. We will all miss you greatly. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers and we will always have fond memories. You are at peace now my friend.

Sincere condolences to the Dircks Family - I have kind

All I can say, Is enjoy the time you have and make sure you live without regrets. Forever your friends Lizabeth J. and E. Gregory Cvasa

i'm glad we had the opportunity to meet again at the alj 50th reunion. May you rest in peace.

You were a great employee and friend at Vogel Bus. You not only took care of all the students on your bus routes making sure they got to and from school safe and on time but took the additional care of your riders when needed. Whenever there was snow forecasted, we all knew that the yards were going to be fine because you were at the helm.
I have so many personal thoughts but I need to end so I can deal with the lump in my throat. Go in peace my friend. You will not be forgotten.
