Not sure what to say?

Dear Judy,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family!
Marilyn

My grandparents, Louis and Carmela Lamanna,
lived next door to the Hays family on Kirtland Street in Point Breeze. As grandchildren, my brother and I always enjoyed visiting the grandparents, especially to see what baby creature Mr. Hays had brought home to nurse along. We remember all sorts of baby animals, and we were allowed to hold them and play with them, under close supervision. Mr. Hays was a wonderful man, and we have nothing but the fondest of memories of our time around him....

Maureen, Judy & Family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad.
My thoughts & prayers are with all of you.
With heartfelt sympathy.

Maureen and family,

Please accept my thoughts and prayers for you all during this difficult time. I knew your dad proudly served our country, but I did not know about his unique and cool career; I'm sure there are many stories to share! Treasure the memories and find comfort in knowing he is at peace.

JUDY,
I am so sorry for your loss.

My family and I were so sorry to hear of Mr Hays passing our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Howard.
We met him when we became members of PENN Wood Campground, it was an honor and pleasure to work beside him. His dedication and hard work at the park were unmatched and will long be remembered
Sincerely

Dave and Rory Fagan

Howard was a wonderful neighbor and will be missed greatly. Both he and his late wife, Dorothy, were an active part of our Kirtland St. neighborhood in earlier days when their health permitted more active lives. I heard many tales from the past from both them and older Pt Breeze residents about Howard, who was one of the Pgh Zoo Directors, bringing baby zoo animals home to care for them and how neighbor children were able to enjoy the company of those animals while in the Hays family care....
