Not sure what to say?

I miss my friend Howard each time I am in Normandy. He was funny speaking and we had good time having a beer together and joking. Chris and Gina you know how appreciated your father.
Emile Lacroix, a Belgian friend.

HE WAS A GREAT GUY , NICE TO MEET HIM AND TALK TO HIM , AND HE LOVED BEER......

I KNEW HIM FROM MY BATTLEFIELD TOURS IN NORMANDY , HE WAS A VERY NICE AND FUNNY GUY , I WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH , MAY HE REST IN PEACE...

I really missed him this year at Ste Mer Egliese. RIP

Paul lange

I knew this person over a number of years, mainly through going to France. He had his ways, but he had a heart of gold and worked so hard between his local connections in France, and those with veterans in America, to engender good relationships between America and Europe and more importantly WAS a veteran of WW2 himself. He deserves recognition. God bless him. Brian, England

Chris, Gina and Family,
Our deepest condolences to both of you and the kids. During this tough time, take solice in the fact that your love and compassion comforted him in the autumn of his life.

I was so very proud to call Howard a friend. RIP mate, I'll miss you dearly!

I met Howie (the "UNC") in Feb. 1974 when I came to work at the Derry Police. He and I spent many a midnight patrol together. I was always glad to see him with me on the hot calls. I'll never forget the night he introduced my wife and I to some alcoholic beverage call Uzo. I thought my wife and I were going to die. Howie was always there for his brother officers. Rest in Peace my friend.
