Sending sincere condolences to you, Lori and the family. What a shock to read in the Star of Pete's passing.
Living on Manderley Drive in Nora seems like a lifetime away but I have such good memories of living there and also of Pilgrim Lutheran. I vividly remember the day Pete stood and went to the altar to become a member. A very emotional and joyous time.

My sincere condolances to all the Howard Peterson family. I really liked his direct approach to actions and decisions. Howard was a true leader & had little time for meaningless action. My time with Howard was his support & council for a Doctrate for Pastor John Fiene of Advent Evangelical Luthern Church.
My lunches with Howard will always have special memories to me.

What a wonderful and beautiful man you were Pete! I have fond memories when I was a young man my father would take me to what he called road 100 by the dairy farm and we would go rabbit hunting, that is where I met Mr. Peterson. What a great guy and I will always remember that same old jacket and yellow pick up truck he would drive. Always friendly, always ready to assist in anything we needed.
