Not sure what to say?

Sending my warmest regards to the family of Dr Zeitz. I was fortunate to have been one of his students in the Alternative Curriculum at Rush Medical College class of 1994. Working with Dr Harold Paul, Dr Zeitz provided incredible instruction and mentorship that shaped the careers of hundreds (or more?) physicians-in-training. I will forever be grateful. Kindest Regards, Bret Ginther MD

My deepest condolences to his family. My daughter and I are very saddend by this. Dr. Zeitz was a phenomenal doctor. I followed him for 45 years since his time at Grant Hospital learning under Dr. Sampter. He was the kindest and most thorough doctor I have ever met. This wonderful man will be truly missed.

To the family of Dr. Zeitz--we were his patients in Chicago and because he was so wonderful, we continued to drive to Rockford to see him. We are so grateful for the care he gave both of us. We rejoice in the fact that we knew him. Our thoughts are with all his family. Sincerely, Barbara and Ed Bennett in Wilmette, Illinois

Dr. Brown...much sympathy to you and family in your loss. I remember you and "Dr. Bowie" coming to our wedding luncheon when my husband and I were married in 2004. You seemed like newlyweds yourself. As my Dr. I have thought of you many times over the years and the many ways you helped me.

To the family of Dr. Zeitz -

He was a great doctor and always listened, and often would make special accommodations for me because I had to travel more than an hour to see him. Always talked about his family with a twinkle in his eye.

My husband and I saw him one year around Christmas time at Cherry Vale with packages in tow, and he instantly knew who we were. A very warm and...

Together with Dr. Max Samter, Dr. Zeitz was among my early career mentors in allergy and immunology. He was extremely influential in helping advise me on fellowship and faculty opportunities, including trying to recruit me to Rush. He was a kind, sincere, detail-oriented physician who loved patients and loved teaching. I know his patients adored him too. Although he and I lost touch a while back since I stayed in Baltimore for nearly three decades, we used to make it a point for many...
