Not sure what to say?

Angela,Chancellor & Olivia,

Ian was a wonderful man and have fond memories of him, his caring attitude and willingness to get involved. You've all been blessed and so many others by who he was and his willingness to make a difference.

You're all in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.

Mark Lindsay

I once worked for zip trip when Mr. Johnstone was President and C E.O. and even well before he became the owner of zip trip and the entire time I worked for zip trip Mr. Johnstone helped me out so much from inviting me to the company parties every year and those were such a blast all the time. To helping me pay for my Letterman's jacker my freshmen year and paid for me to have my senior pictures taken my senior year of high school. I always enjoyed when he would pop in to the store I was...

I was 5 years old when we moved to Spokane and I remember thinking that Ian had the best smile - like an electric energy. As a kid, he was a blast to be around. It's obvious that he will be sorely missed forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to Angela, Chancellor, and Olivia, as well as the rest of the extended family.

I worked foe Ian as store manger of store 54 in Billings Montana Ian was a very wonderful boss and was very giving. I retired in Sept. 2011. I was given a wonderful retire party and a trip to Memphis and Nashville..Ian is a man a person will never forget. My thoughts and prayers goes out to all his family.

Our family had a history with Zip Trip, before Ian came there. It soon became evident how he would impact so many people that he came to know. He was a 'man's man' and with that comes an enormous responsibility to carry on the traditions he has put in place. Loved reading how the very next day after his sudden passing, the family delivered the back packs as he had planned. Always thinking of others, with family first. Know that he touched many hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the...

I am so sorry for your loss. The service was beautiful.

Angela, Chancellor and Olivia
May Ian rest with the light of The Lord. May the love and peace of The Lord be with each of you.

You three are on my heart and in my prayers. Ian was a wonderful husband, father and son. He gave so much to so many. God comfort you in the way only He can.

Ian was such an inspiration not only to my son who he coached for 3 years but to my family. He made an incredible difference for Bryan, as a coach, as a friend and even at times as a father figure. What a loss to the community. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family.
