Ida M. Nelson age 88 went to her heavenly home July 18, 2016. Wife of Charlie Nelson Jr. Mother of Charlie M. Nelson, Bobbie J. Nelson, Bessie N. Cochran, Di Ann (Polky) Nelson, Clarence Nelson (Easter) and Rev.James E. Nelson. Sister of Ledora Franklin, Erma Jean Wesley, James Tucker Jr. (Elnora) and Walsh Wesley. Survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation, Friday, July 29, 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. until time of Homegoing Service 12 noon, Monumental Missionary Baptist Church, 704 S. Parkway. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
