I remember when Ingrid along with othe Latvians arrived in Hearst. Clayton Brown the school principal enforced upon all students that we were to be friendly, patient and much more. When Ingrid was in Cochcrane she was most often at the piano and organ - I was teaching in a rural place but lived in town which made it possible for me to teach Sunday School. I was a dental classmate and friemd of Ingrid and spent many happy hours with her at dental school and, later, with her and Egils. I will miss her.

I have many happy memories of time spent with Ingrid especially the summer we shared working at the Banff Springs Hotel.
