I remember her from when we were both much, much younger. As I recall, she worked for Mr Tenant. My Dad would stop in to say hello often. I could never pronounce her name correctly so I would call her Miss Ollie. She taught me the hokie pokie!
There will always be a warm, special place in my heart filled with all the little visits we had as I was growing up.

I want to extend sympathy on behalf of my son, Neel Garofano, who is out of the country right now. Neel worked at Sears with Iola while in high school. She treated him like a son and seemed very happy when he and I visited her at Van Duyn. She was so kind.
