Irene Lucile Baker

Thank You Mary Kay. I’ve reflected on my Mother’s life the last week or so and have realized how strong of a Woman she was. Her Sister and Brothers were left Fatherless at a very young age . The strength of character was apparent with her actions and teachings of her life. I want to publicly thank her for adopting me and saving my life and raising me , I loved her more than i could express . So glad i got to visit you a few days before and god bless.

Irene was a good friend and neighbor of my mother and father, Herman & Martha Eckerman and lived across the street from our family home on Rawlins Ave. NE, Salem. I remember playing on a bowling team with my mom and my husband's mom and I believe Irene was a teammate. That
was many years ago. My condolences to the family.
