Derrick and Chris,

I just received the word related to your mother's death. I am so sorry. Iris was truly a friend and a wonderful person. I am so sorry that I was not there with you. I remember both of you as you were growing up.

It is so strange that I wanted to see Iris just last Saturday, Nov. 17th. I was in the area and I couldn't remember exactly how to get to the house. I called her twice, hoping I would get a response so I could stop by the house. I am so in...

Ms. Iris Johnson was the congregational nurse at my church, Iglesia Cristiana Internacional (International Christian Church) in Greensboro for several years. During her time ministering to us we were privileged to get to know her and see her for much more than just questions regarding health concerns. She brought a message to us at our church on Mother's Day this year about the Virtuous Woman described in Proverbs 31 and it was a joy to learn from her. She was such a warm, caring individual...

Dear Derrick, Chris, and family,
Larry and I are so heart broken to hear of the loss of your mom. She will forever remain in our hearts and we will morn her passing with you. I know that heaven's choir welcomed her with open arm and I can hear that saintly voice singing out the praises of our Lord and Savior.
What an example for us all, a good and faithful servant!

I just LOVE Ms Iris Johnson everytime I saw her or was around her I felt the love she spread to everyone! She will be truly missed and I know her family will carry on this love she spread to everyone!

To the family:
I was Iris's mentor... We prayed, laughed and sang together when she would visit. On the phone we would conversate like it was our last conversation. She certainly will be missed. Iris I love the're in my thoughts and prayers.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We wll miss Miss Iris so much. She was always there when we need her. We know that she is alright now. She is with our heavenly father.

With Love,
Ruth Graves and Family

My friend is resting with the good Lord. May you and Chris find the same knowing that she is in heaven singing with the angels. My prayers are with you and your family. Love to you all.
