Irving W. "Butch" Rogers III

I worked with Irv at Joint Battle Center and JSIC in Suffolk Virginia. Irv always had a smile;he was always a pleasure to work with. Irv always showed great energy and was a true professional. My condolences to his family and friends.

I worked with Irv for nearly 20 years at the US Atlantic Command. He was one of the brightest and most dedicated computer engineers I have ever known. I recall his motorcycle accident when he swerved to avoid a deer at night. He came to work with his helmet with deep gouges in it thankful that he had it on. He was an adventurer, willing to try anything. I wish his family our sincerest condolences. Russ & Mary Ann Myers.

Butch and Louise are among our dearest friends and neighbors. Butch was a truly unique "cowboy" He was bright interesting and always willing to pitch in and help anybody in need. Butch was a "doer" not so much a talker. He was full of life and adventure and took a lot of us along for the ride. His lovely Louise was his rock and went along with all his escapades. We all in this neighborhood loved them both and will always remember Butch's infectious laugh and his unabashed wit. God bless...
