Ike was one of my Dad's best hunting buddies and I was fortunate to be with Ike when he shot "Bullwinkle". It was one of the most memorable trips I have ever been on. He always could put a smile on your face.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Thank you to all our extended family and friends who have offered their prayers and condolences. Your support is very much appreciated.

Ike was a pretty amazing fellow.I never got to know him real well,but you didn't have to be around him long to see that he was a pretty sharp guy.The last time I spent with him was early last fall with John,and Dwayne (Woody) at his cabin,and was amazed at how sharp his mind was and the stories he had to tell. Although we never met Ike himself, we have considered his son John one of our dearest and most beloved friends.
John spoke often and lovingly of a man he considered to be a personal "hero" and a wonderful father. I know that John looked up to his father and was grateful for thelife lessons and influence that his das had in John's life.
We wish to let John know how deeply we feel for him and all of Ike's loving family in this sorrowful time.
