I came to know Ismael as a City of GR employee. We didn't work in the same dept but crossed paths at City events. I would see him at Roger's Plaza on his better days and even though he was in pain, he was going to keep going! It made me sad to see the obit but at the same time I know he is no longer in pain. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family.
