Not sure what to say?

Iva, I think of you often wishing that we could continue catching up on the 60 + years we didn't see each other.
I miss the smile I saw when we thought of some of the stuff that went on with your brothers, especially Donnie and the stuff he and I pulled. You may be gone from our sight, but not from our memories.

Phyllis, Barry, and Melanie, I so miss hearing "Hey there, how's it going?" Iva's frequent greeting by phone. I've waited to write hoping to find adequate words but they seem insufficient to do justice to your Mom. She was one of a kind. To our family she was so many things: neighbor, historian, detective, gardener, constitutionalist, mentor, dear friend, and surely family. We miss her greatly so it's hard to imagine your sense of loss. Please know that your Mom and all of you...

I knew Iva almost all of her 81 years but had lost track of her for 64 of those years since we were in school. We just recently got back to telling what has been happening in our lives since. We talked often on the telephone and on Facebook. I was shocked and saddened to find out she passed when I called to talk to her. I wish that we could have had more time to talk of old times. Iva you will be missed, but I know exactly where you are, sitting at the right hand of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am stunned & saddened to learn of the passing of a long time friend. Little did we know the last time I visited it would be the last. It's been a long run & I will miss you dearly. You were truly one of a kind.

Iva was very helpful with my family
search and she was a pleasure to
work with in my search. She will
very much be missed by all who
knew her.
All of my sympathy to her family !

I cannot find adequate words to describe her. Iva was a rare bird, indeed. A woman of many talents; she was strong willed, a diligent patriot, kind to all creatures, sharp witted and occasionally sharp-tongued!

While her loss touched many, her life touched many more. She is an inspiration and will always hold a place in my heart.

I love you and miss you, Iva.

I am going to miss talking to Iva and the blueberry bread she use to for me'

Dear Phyllis, Barry, Melanie and families We wish to express our sympathy and may your good memories be a source of comfort to you.
In sympathy,
