Not sure what to say?

Dear Ivan and his family were very close family friends to my parents from the time they lived in Budapest. I had the privilege of knowing Ivan since I was a child. Ivan was a very kind, caring, compassionate and intelligent man, who enjoyed life to the fullest. Ivan was a real gentleman with that old European charm. I am grateful that he was a part of my life for so many years and for the times we had together. My partner and I will miss him dearly. Our sincerest condolences go out to Yuki...

Ivan was my mentor on professional level, the best teacher. in medical
and in personal issues. We had many common social gathering, birth day parties ,vine tasting, opera and many cultural events.
We knew each others family members like a family.Last we talked
ked to him on March 18/2019 on his birthday ,we sang for him the usual
Happy birth day to you.....he was delighted but informed about his medical diagnosis! We had a chance to tell him how much we love him,he almost...

A very talented, caring, and generous man who gave years of love, advice and support to his family and many friends. A person with strong personal beliefs, who loved nothing more than to debate his ideas with others. He loved his role as mentor, teacher, and opened the minds of most he came in contact with as he shared his love for art, music, history, and literature.

He will be missed.

We will miss our very dear friend of 35 years with whom we had so many laughs and social gatherings, especially the countless sunday morning breakfasts. Ivan was an exceptional man with so many fine qualities and who was erudite in many fields. All who knew him will have benefited greatly from the experience.

Good friend since 1965. Enjoyed 55 years of friendship with this exceptional and unique man. Ivan was a renaissance man.A man of depth breadth insight and integrity. I will miss learning from him about so many things.

A wonderful friend. We have known each other since grade one in elementary school in Budapest. We then went, at different times, to Institut Montana in Zugerberg in Switzerland. We then connected up here in Toronto and remained close friends right until Ivan's passing. A wonderful old school gentleman, music lover and individualist. I'll miss him greatly
