Not sure what to say?

Dear Maxine and family,
I was so surprised to hear of the passing of Bro. Cameron. He was such a kind man and gave me good advice when I lived off campus my sophmore year and was struggling to keep my grades up. I have always loved your family and am so glad our paths crossed. May you be blessed with comfort and knowledge of our gospel which tells us you will all be together again. Much love, LARK

Maxine and Family,
We heard today at church from Marg Kjar of Elliott's passing. We rejoice with you over a life of faith and service in so many ways and in so many places. Our mutual love for BYU-Hawaii plus the musical experiences we have shared have bonded us thoroughly even though our first person association has been limited.
May God bless and comfort you in this time of temporary farewell.
Fondly,
Jerold and JoAnn Ottley

Privileged to have Brother Cameron as my high school principal at South Sevier. He and Maxine rented a home west of where I lived in Monroe. I admired him greatly. Janet Lundgreen

Dear Cameron Family--
Elliot lived with his family on Center Street in Springville next to the church when I was growing up in the same ward. His mother accompanied me sometimes when I sang in the ward, and my Dad helped in later years with their taxes. I have great memories of being in their home. Pres. Cameron performed our marriage ceremony when he was Pres. of the Provo Temple, and was very helpful to me when I was considering the possibility of tranferring to BYU-Hawaii to work. ...

Dear Maxine and Family,
Greetings from Madrid, Spain, where we are currently serving a mission ion the office of the Spain Madrid Mission. What wonderful memories we have of you and your family in the old BYU 66th ward. My cousin, Fred Hatch, and I served together in the bishopric in that ward during it's very first year of existence. We have enjoyed staying up-to-date with your lives through elevator and cafeteria visits with Kerry Lynn there at the Church Office Building. Our love...

To the family: He was a great man of faith. He was the President of BYUH in 1981 when I joined the church and attended the college. I always remember him as a quiet and humble and yet a man of vision. He is in a better place now. Prayers of Comfort be with you all.

Dear Maxine and family:
I was sad to hear of Elliot's passing. I have often thought of you both with much love. I enjoyed working with the Commissioner at CES and associating with you both. I wish I could be there for the funeral but am unable to do so. I am just recovering from a full hip replacement after the one I had 2 yrs. ago failed. It has been a long painful haul for me and I am just out of the hospital and cannot travel at this time. But I wanted all of you to know how...

My condolances to you, your marvelous mother and your family, for your enormous loss.
Memories go back a long time. Still a treasure is a little red box your mother gave me filled with delicious fudge.
Best of wishes.

My condolences to the Cameron family. As a teenager growing up in Laie, Hawaii, I had the privilege of serving as a junior home teaching companion to a wonderful seasoned home teacher. One of our families we home taught each month was the Cameron family. I remember being asked to teach the lesson one month, which I was very nervous about. Before teaching the lesson I told President & Sister Cameron that I felt my lesson would be worthless and that there was nothing I could possibly teach to...
