J. Philip (Phil) McKean, age 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007, surrounded by his family. He died at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Phil was born August 28, 1928 in Burr Oak, Michigan, graduated from Albion College and served two years in the U.S....

Brenda, my prayers are with you. I have some knowledge of what you are experiencing since I lost Marilyn last June 16 as a result of a traffic accident. We had 55 years together and 15 of those "on the road". I am alone at the Thousand Trails Resort in Conroe TX where I work as a Ranger.
