Not sure what to say?

Rusty will be missed as the gentle icon that he was in Blue Hill. His image will remain forever in Blue Hill. Praying that you are a peace Rusty. Praying for Rusty's family through this very difficult time.

It has been a privilege to know Rusty and have him as a friend and colleague in Flash and otherwise. He was one of the most generous and thoughtful people I have known, and I will miss him very much.

For me he personified the most important aspect of Flash, which is not musical perfection, but the pleasure that music can bring to those that make it. He clearly loved playing in the band, and was loved in return by all of us.

May he rest in peace.

I also knew Rusty from the 2007 and 2009 Bermuda 1-2 races. Rusty was one of a kind.........smart, kind and all around good guy. He'd give you th eshirt off his back if you needed it. He will sail on in spirit on the 2011 race.

Sail on my friend, sail on.

I met Rusty during the Bermuda One-Two in 2007. He was a gentle man and a good friend. Patrick Nugent, Beaver Island, MI

Although I new Rusty for a relatively brief time while I was an EMT in the area, he made an impression the will last forever.
