In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My deepest sympathy to your family...I had the opportunity even though limited to work and know J.D....he always put you at ease and helped with whatever issues a person had. So very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about JD. I live in Phoenix Arizona and met JD about 5 years ago briefly when he was here for a company event. I feel blessed to have known him even though they were mostly phone conversations. I was his Antigua Golf rep in which we did polos with his company logo. I will never forget him calling (always toward the end of the day) and going over which shirts he wanted......these conversations are usually 10-15 minutes but JD's were 45-50 minutes. miss him already. I...

From a retired Celotex friend my heartfelt sypathies go out to your family. J.D. was a class act and someone you should be very proud of. He had many friends in the Building Materials Industry and will be missed.

Dear Elaine and Family,
It is difficult to tell you how deeply sorrowful we feel about JD's untimely death.
What started many years ago at GAF as a business relationship between JD and I became a warm friendship. It was a privilege to have known him so well, and I will never forget his thoughtfulness, kindness and humor. JD had a special gift of making the joys of life contagious, at every sales meeting JD was part of the entertainment to the entire group. JD always coordinated every...

Dear Elaine and family,
I was sorry and shocked to hear of J. D.'s passing. I know he'll be missed by a LOT of people.
It has been years since I've seen him at the conventions with my husband, Bill England. He thought a lot of J. D.
You're all in my thoughts and prayers, as I know the pain of losing your husband.
Sincerly,
Rita England

Joan and I were very saddened to hear that J.D. had passed away. I had the privilege of working with J.D. when doing legal work for the Celotex Roofing Division. I always enjoyed working with him. His bright smile and engaging personality won him friends all over the country. Our prayers are for J.D.'s family and many friends during this sad and difficult time. Heaven will have more laughter than ever now that J.D. has gone home to be with the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of JD. I will always remember him as a mentor, boss and friend at Celotex.
JD will be remembered as the "People Person", which he was! JD always treated people with respect and dignity and his cheerful persona will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hasselbach family.
God Bless!

I worked with JD for many years with Celotex. He was one of my favorite bosses. My condolences go out to this family. He will be truly missed.
