Not sure what to say?

Dear Aunt Alex, David, Shanna and Christopher: I was so fortunate to have "uncle Richard" in my life as a young boy, living with Rich's parents in the big old house when mom was divorced and Rich was home from the Army. He looked out for me, my sister Hadley and mom and I was "Teddy" at that time. When mom approached me at about age 7 and asked me to choose a different name, I chose Richard because of my uncle Richard, and became "Ricky" to family and then Rick in high school. So sorry for your loss. We all are looking forward to the day when God's promise at John 5:28 will come true for all the ones we've loved and lost.

Dear Alex, David, Shauna, and Christopher. We can't wait to see you and share with you in person how much Uncle Richard meant to us! Our hearts are with you. We are flooded with fond memories and the sound of his voice as he sang or spoke. One of a kind and unforgettable for sure! Love to each of you, Bette & Skip

I will always be thankful that my life crossed with Richard. He was a good man and delightful to know.

Alex and the rest of Rich's beloved family. He was quite a fellow. We shared many memories and wonderful laughs over all those years of camping together at Winfield. I took much of his advice on reading certain books, and he never strayed from giving me excellent reading materials!! I was so glad to know him and to call this wonderful man a friend. I am holding the entire Usher family in my thoughts and prayers....

Dear Alex and Family,
I remember Rich as such a very fine gentleman, accompanying you to the many Autoharp Festivals we both attended. I enjoyed our little drives in my rental car ... up and down the steep hills of the Ozark Folk Center going to the event buildings. Well, Rich lasted to the ripe age of 96 ... 8 years older then you and I are. My wish is that we both can look forward to many more good musical years. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.
