Not sure what to say?

It was a pleasure to know Bishop Bangerter. I appreciated the great example he set in every aspect of his life. His home was a safe and fun place to be. His children were all terrific and many of them had a tremendous influence on me and many of my friends. I am grateful to have been able to spend a little time in this life knowing Jack and his family.

Bishop Bangerter was my bishop, boss and friend. He sent me on my mission and had a great influence in my life.

My family and I have many terrific memories those days in the old Bountiful 16th Ward. We often reflect on those special years and we are greatful for the influence of the Bangerter family.

The Vickers family offers our sincere condolences to you Connie, and the rest of the family. The "Bishop" will always be in our memories.

I served in the Omaha Nebraska mission and President and Sister Bangerter took such good care of the sisters, the Elders would get jealous of that. President Bangerter truly loved his sister missionaries. He taught us love and the power of the spirit through music. One of the greatest memories for most of us was to play our harmonicas with the President. "Ask about Nerbraska"-our mission song- we would all gather together and President would start us out, he loved his harmonica and would...

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sandra and Family,

Our heat-felt condolences. May you be comforted at this very tender time of temporary separation.

With love,

Dear Bangerter Family,
What a hugh void this leaves in so many of our hearts. I had the opportunity to live by this amazing man and wonderful family for the majority of my life. I have so many fond memories of Bishop Bangerter, from catching a greased pig at the ward party, to the annual potatoes that were received at Christmas. He had the heart as big as the state in which he served and the gospel that he loved and lived each and every day! He loved his bride… I never tired of seeing...

Dearest Connie,
As truly good friends who have on special occasions been priviliged to share time and experiences with both you and Jack wish to acknowledge our great times together over the past 65 years or so. We have been blessed to have those eventful periods together. Please be aware that during this time of stress that our thoughts are with you and your family. We find it difficult to express our feelings in a manner that pass along those strong and remorseful thoughts that will be a...

To the whole Bangerter family, and particularly Sandy and Dan Rast,

We have know Jack and many members of his family for the 30 plus years we have lived in Bountiful. We became even closer when we moved a short distance away from the Bangerters and the Rasts. We loved seeing Jack out on his tractor working in the yard he so loved. He made many significant contributions to his city, his State, and his (and our) Church, all too numerous to recount. May the Lord's comforting hand be...

We would like to express our condolences to the Bangerter family. Jack and Connie have been so warm to us and embraced us into the neighborhood. We are so fortunate to have you and your memories with us forever.

Love, Kirk and Chris Gardner
