I was a very close friend to his deceased son Jack, a man I would have loved to have called a brother.I new him a short 12 years and saw and talked to him several times a week. I just want to send my deepest condolences to the whole family. I just found out when I read it on the QST (Ham radio) magazine (Nov. issue). I was a good friend of his son Jack. Take care.

We remember Mr. Franck very well AND his Lotus 41. We will always remember the first trial run on Walnut Lane. His individuality and love of inventions was passed-on to all four of his sons. Although we have lived in many parts of the US and the World, our years on Walnut Lane are treasured memories. Janelle and Joel (Brother) McDonald, Boise, ID

I met Jack and his family many years ago with working at the Laboratory. I will always remember the Christmas parties at the family home. My most memorable occasion is when Jack flew me and a few others from Tahoe to Reno in his beech craft plane. A kind, sincere and devoted man to his family and friends. You will be missed. Having first met Jack Sr. when I was a sophomore in High School along with his son Alan, I always looked up to him. It was the way he approached building or machining parts for his Lotus that kept me in awe. Something that I've strived for in my life.
My thought are with the whole Franck Family.
