Not sure what to say?

Jack was an amazing person. He went to bat many times for the retail clerks members in Springfield and other states. For years he insured we were getting treated fairly among the retail giants. I knew him 40 years ago, but never forgot him There will never be another one like him, he was a legend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jack a mere 4 years ago. A fine man full of knowledge and great conversation, I visited with him at length anytime I could. I only wish I'd meet both Jack and Merrie Gail sooner in life. My hope is that you all find peace and comfort in faith, family and friends. Godspeed. -Scott

I will always treasure my friendship with Jack. He was always happy and upbeat, always ready with a joke. His smile would light up the world. My heart is broken to hear of his illness and passing. May God Bless his Family and keep them in his arms. Sending light, love, and prayers.

Stacey and Family I am sorry for your loss, and would love to visit with you if you have the time

Jack was my Business Agent when I worked at the three Safeway Stores back in the 70's. He always had your back and was a great Union negotiator.I learned a lot about organized labor from Jack. He was a great man. RIP my friend!

Am very sorry to learn of the passing of Jack. Although not having seen Jack since high school graduation, remember him well. He was an honorable person, mannerly and very polite. He will be missed but is in good hands.
