Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I had known him since the early 80's when he first set up at my Michigan Civil War Collectors Show with his GAR displays. I used to stop by his shop when returning from Canada and every so often on the weekends. Had been stopping by the shop to visit and was always closed, just figured he was taking those weekends to go to the cottage. When I tried calling never got an answer & was getting worried. I found my fears were realized. Jack was a great guy,...

i miss you so much. :(

I knew Jack from his shop. He was an interesting man with patience and humor. Jack never hurried me, and always remembered not only my name, but the coins I was interested in (and they were not the most expensive or rare). I will miss his smile, his stories and his humor. Rest in peace Jack. God bless.

I first met Jack when he purchased the antiques business "Yesterday's Treasures" after the previous owner - my friend Janet Dolan - passed away. Jack was always gracious, full of tales, so knowledgeable, funny, very caring. I simply do not have enough adjectives to describe what a wonderful friend he was. I sure will be missing him.

You will never be forgotten Jack! Rest in Peace.

Jack was a good friend and business buddy.

Jack will be dearlly missed.

Jack was my mothers cousin. I took her to see him a few years before she passed away. It was the 1st time I had meant Jack. We had a pleasant visit with my Mom and Jack talking about the old days. My Mom was Clara LaTurno Hayman. Her parents were Len and Muriel "Dot" LaTurno. My prayers go out to your family.

My deepest condolences on Jacks passing. We exchanged coins and knowledge through the years. When things settle down if you are interested in selling his inventory I would be interested. He was a stand up guy. God Bless 810-858-7925

Joe, Scott, and Becky: My sincerest condolences for the loss of your Dad. He was such a big part of my life and every Scout's life at Troop 216 when we were all there and in middle/high school. He was great to us all and I will always appreciate his humor and generosity. Prayers said for strength and comfort to you all.

In 2013, while vacationing in Michigan, I made it a point to visit with folks I hadn't seen in years. Jack and I had lunch together in Port Huron and were able to share many family memories. Our mothers were first cousins. Jack always had a generous heart and enjoyed his family. May God bless and comfort his sister, his children and grandchildren through this time and in the years ahead.
