Hi Shelley
Sorry to hear about your Dad. It would be nice to catch up. Contact me at [email protected].

Jack is one person that will be remembered by many and forgotten by few. We go back a long ways, to the days at the fairgrounds and I even worked for Jack and Bobbie at Sportsway RV and ended up purchasing the property from them when it closed. I wish the best to the family. May your memories bring you comfort.

To the Meggers family,

Jack personified the 'Good guy from Iowa' more than about anyone I've known. I used to listen to his KGLO radio show, and I first met him when he was involved in a hunter/firearms-safety program in Mason City in the mid-1970s. I remember talking with him out at the Fairgrounds about his company, Sportsway, and his long career serving Iowans and his love of the Outdoors.

I was sorry to read of his passing. Iowa -- and America -- needs more...

Becky and family,

I'm sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I know it's been a rough couple years for you guys. Becky, although I never got to meet your father I got to enjoy your stories of him while we worked together. I know you loved him deeply and you would have done anything in the world needed of you to care for him. I pray you all have the knowledge he will always be watching over you. Becky, I'm here if you need anything. Love Anne Davidson

My thought and prayers are with the Meggers family. I have many fond memories of Jack. Nothing meant more to him than his family. He was a great father, outdoorsman, and conservationist. May your memories bring you comfort.
