I knew Jack for several years and considered him a friend. We had a long conversation around Easter and then I did not see him again. He never did reveal but so much about his personal life when we spoke. I found him to be an intelligent person if you got to know him better. I learned of Jack's death late and would like to take the opportunity to say that Jack was a very sweet and supportive person in our rooms and that he was well liked and will be missed. To describe him as a "gentle soul" is accurate.
