I had the great pleasure of working with Jack at Henry Bacon during the 70's. That was a while ago, but I never forgot what a fun person he was. I totally enjoyed knowing Jack. He was so good at his job that many customers refused to let anyone else wait on them, and they would stand around and wait for Jack to shake loose so he could wait on them. I feel like Jack was family and friend to me. His kind and gentle soul was only lingering here until he could go home to Carmen. His love for his children was always obvious. I am glad I got to share some good times and enjoy his great sence of humor.
My sympathy to his children and grandchildren seems very inadequate for the loss that they feel, but I wish to express this to them. He was one of the great guys. May your memories bring you comfort.
