I have known Jackie here in Silver City, NM for several years and for the last year or so she has been an important member/leader of our Grant County American Association of University Women (AAUW) Branch. I will miss Jackie as a dear friend as well as a passionate AAUW member.

I send my deepest condolences to John and all of Jackie's family for this great loss.

As soon as I returned to Michigan from graduate school in 1976, it seemed as if I were always running into Jackie - at meetings of the Michigan Historical Society, at Local History seminars in Detroit, at annual conferences of the Michigan Historic Preservation Network.
