Peacefully passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 60. Beloved father of Matthew “Matt” (Ashley) Vogel; and grandfather of Thomas, Charles, and Nathan Vogel. Dear brother of Margaret “Peggy” (Scott) Olds, Mary Kay (Jim) Dolan, Eileen Paykel, and the late Chuck and Dennis Vogel. Cherished husband and the late Sallie (nee Singer) Vogel. Loving friend and partner of Sasha Ramirez. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.


Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 6th, from 12:00PM to 2:00PM, at Feerick Funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI 53211. A service honoring Jim’s life will take place immediately following at 2:00PM. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI will be private for the family. James as I knew him working at Great Wolf Lodge, had a love/hate relationship with me at first. Then we both realized we had a mutual goal in our work day, and we made the best of each day together. Working a day without him, made the day drag along. He always was a great confidant and gave some really good advise. I loved hearing his stories and my favorite was how he lost his hair.
