Not sure what to say?

Brother Aldridge was my pastor many years ago at Trinity Baptist Church in Gatesville, Texas. He baptized me and secured my salvation as a child. We were only blessed with him as our pastor for just a few years at Trinity, but he will always be remembered as not just our first pastor, but as a dear and kind man of God. I am sorry that I am just now hearing of his passing. My prayers are with the family during this time.

I had the blessings of working with Bro. James on several fund raising projects for Buckner International while he was pastor in Midland. I found him to be a man of integrity, honesty, and a willingness to go the second mile, if necessary to complete the job. Truly, a man of God filled with love and a desire to serve Jesus with all his being. I am grateful to have been able to call him my special friend.I admired both James and Mary for their devotion to God and their children. Both of them...

I was sad to hear of Bro. James passing. Although I know he is in "GLORY LAND". I was Bro.James secretary for 10 years at Northwestern Baptist in Midland. Mary and Bro. James and girls were very special to our family. He married our oldest daughter and kept me in line while preparing for the wedding. Joanna would come and work with me at the church on Wednesday's and we would go to the show and out to eat sometimes. She was so special to me. We all lost touch for a while when they moved and...

Our prayers are with James' family. Would love to connect to son Scott.

James and Mary were a breath of fresh air for New Horizon Baptist Church as we all settled in with hugs from Joanna and Melissa who liked everything PINK! Then he started ' burying us ' and we knew we were family in the deepest sense. He was a fine man with an unexpected sense of humor; and a library of over 1,000 books which he allowed me to peruse. He and his work are to be valued. I am so glad he passed our way before he passed on To Glory.

My prayers are with his family. James was an inspiring young man at ETBU. You will be missed by all who knew you.

I was glad when the alumni group from ETBU stopped by Lubbock a couple of years ago, and James, his sister and one of his daughters joined us for lunch at the Wind Power museum.
I well remember James from our years at ETBC, including a memorable trip to Glorieta. He and Mary were among our favorite couples on campus; I was sad to read of her passing last year, and while this "graduation to Glory" makes me miss those days on the Hill, I know James is spreading joy everywhere with his...

I was saddened to hear of James' death. My brother Bob and I went to ETBU with both James and Mary. My prayers are with his family.
