Not sure what to say?

What a full life of giving and kindness he was to us at Edina! Class of 1981 - I remember his kindness and respect! His leadership gave me a sense of integrity. You will be fondly remembered!

Jim was a wonderful man and will be missed by many, many people. My thoughts go out to Betty and his children at this time.

What a wonderful man. I feel honored to have known him at church over the years. I'm so sorry for your loss, Betty and Elizabeth and family. He made such an impact on all those around him, leaving the world a better place.

I am so blessed to have known this man, one of the greatest I ever knew.

Jim: Thanks for all of your guidance. Your peaceful direction and mentoring helped shape d students and teachers alike. You will be missed. Jim Kaju

Sorry for your loss. When I was a junior, my year book was stollen out of my locker and there were no more to be bought. Mr Cabalka gave me his own yearbook, for me to have. Truely, a giving spirit!

Jim treated me well when I worked as the Edina High librarian. He had the respect of many in the community for his very outstanding service to education. Treffle Daniels

I'm sorry for your loss as Jim was the assistant principal at Edina High School in the mid 60's where I graduated from and Jim was a good guy was always helpful to the kid's, myself included. A memorable man!

So sorry to hear that Jim passed away. He was upbeat each time I talked with him, even toward the end. That says something about Jim as a person! Enjoyed very much working with him and being with him at many luncheons over the years of our retirement. He was a classy guy in so many ways, including his fashionable outfits! We will miss you, Jim. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Donovan Johnson
