Not sure what to say?

Jim & I had a good time on South "U" in the 60's. I was at the Food Mart on S.U.& Church. We had coffee twice a day at the "Dugout" next to CamAlet Bros. for quite a few years. Jim named the Pretzel Bell annex on S.U. "The Padded Sewer". It was located in the Basement of the High rise at Forest & S.U. The ceiling was carpeted so he named it . I have very good memories of Jim He was a fine man. I can't tell you all of the good things about him in this note, I smile when I think of him.

Aunt Bonnie, Kathy & Michael,
Just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I will always have fond memories of Uncle Jamie ... especially his laugh and the way his laugh made everyone else laugh :) Wish I could be back home at this time to give you a hug. May God to be close to you at this time of need. Much Love from Virginia.

I will always have great memories of the times on Oswego St with the 3 story house that seemed so huge to us as little kids. Also the infectious laugh that Uncle Jaime had!!! Move over angels in heaven, there is a new comedian in town. God Bless You. I will miss seeing you by Aunt Bonnie's side. I only hope that I can have 52 wonderful years of marriage with my husband.

To a very special person in our famiy, "Jamie" as we all called him will by greatly missed. For he was always the life of the party. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bonnie, Kathy, Michael at this time of sorrow. May they always remember the laughter and the special way that "Jamie" touched everyones life he came in contact with.

Bonnie and Family:

Please know you have my sympathy and prayers in your loss. I remember lots of fun times with Jamie. I have lots of good memories of the summer I spent living with the Calhoun's.

Jim was one of the most unique people I've ever known. He was the only person who could take a chestnut, paint it maze and blue, keystone the price and sell hundreds.Or take a cypress knee from the swapms of LA paint a santa on it and sell them. Julie, our daughter, summed it up best after I told her of Jims passing. " He was the nicest man I've ever known" Too many fond memories to share here, but I will share with Bonnie and Kathy later. He was a true friend and we will miss him greatly. Our...

Sorry to hear about the death of your loved one. I work at the Laurel park M-Den and frequently talked to Jim on the phone regarding customers and merchandise, etc. He was a true gentleman and I enjoyed his sense of humor. I met Jim once on a field trip to Briarwood and it was fun meeting him in person. My prayers are with your family today. Sincerely, Kathy Gromek
