Dear Cashman family,
Although I did not have father Cashman as a teacher, I recall his unique presence during my days at Stepinac. I was a musician in the band from 1977 to 1980 under the direction of father Lancelotti. I participated as a musician in the musicals rather then the drama shows that father Cashman is so well known for. I remember his unique smile (and mustache!), and he always treated me well. Thank you Fr Cashman. You were a mentor and an inspiration. We had a special friendship at Stepican and I cherish the days we spent in your shop fooling around with electronics and listening to your great stories. And of course the stage. You made my years at Stepinac fun and inspired my career. I hope I can have a long and prosperous life as you had. 10-4 Fr. I'll catch you on the radio waves in heaven.
