Our hearts go out to the family of one of the sweetest couples my husband and I have ever known. I started working with Tari at WERDCC in 2009 but we didn't meet Jim until they went to Texas for his surgery. We couldn't help but see the love and commitment they shared. I didn't Know Jim very long. The first time I meet him was as a Hospice volunteer. But as soon as we started talking I knew we would be friends. We both loved hunting and fishing and had lots of tails to tell. Some I told might have been a stretch but I felt my stores had to be as good as his. Jim had such a positive look towards his future and Tari did all she could to support him. He would tell me of his love for her and hers for him. He was looking forward to moving into there new home...

To my best friend skid row. What a person. One of the hardest working man there ever was. I have known him for approximately 33 years.we shared a life time working together . He meet tari and was probably the happiest I ever seen him .He joked all the time she was going to make him fat with her cooking, he loved talking about her so . I met Jim and his wife Tari at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2014. Jim and my 27 year old daughter Ashley were both battling Leukemia in the same hospital. I first met Tari in the rose gardens in front of the hospital.
