Like Greg Hutson and many others, Jim was a major factor of our development as correctional workers but also "people of earth". Dear Jan, recently learned of Jim’s passing, a heartbreaker for those of us who knew and worked with him. Wish you and the family all the best during this difficult time.

Jan and your family, Caroline and I are so very sorry for your loss of Jim. I have such great memories of Jim as a mentor and friend he was one of a kind, a great man. We feel thankful to be able to visit with you both last December.
