Sending prayers from Kansas City. May he forever shine through Our Lord Jesus Christ. RIP sweet boy.

I am so sorry for your loss- please accept my condolences and prayers for you all. -

How grateful I am that Ami and I were able to see handsome super hero Jim, his beloved mom and dad too at Comer just a few days prior to his passing. These precious photos share a beautiful family story about so much talent and so much love. My heart aches for all the Cooneys/Colemans/Laverdes who have been blessed to know Jim and to love him so.

I have known Jimmy since 1997. During that 20 year timeframe, Jimmy has shown to be a bundle of joy and a very outstanding artist. On behalf of Easterseals Academy, we are deeply saddened that he is no longer here with us.

Oh Beth, I am so saddened to hear of the loss of your brother Jimmy. What wonderful photos you have shared in the photo gallery! May the love you shared, that is so obvious in these photos sustain you and your family during this difficult time. God bless you with comfort, peace and unending grace.
With much Love,

I am so blessed to have known Jimmy. It was my privilege to be part of his Comer PICU care team. He touched my heart & taught me a beautiful new way of looking at the world. I loved Jimmy's expression of feelings and his life through his artwork. His art is a wonderful legacy for you to have. Jimmy's joy in pleasures we can often take for granted was inspiring to me. My favorite memory is when Jimmy decided I was part of his team. That hug is a very special memory for me! He will always...

Mary, thinking of you and your family, and wishing you peace and comfort in the days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Mary and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of Jimmy's precious life. It was an honor to view all the photos you have posted of him and to see him through the many years that have passed since the Infant Center. A remarkable young man- as you say-a super hero. Marj Wilkey
